He says there were many others who wanted to come. He muses to the oil executives he has invited to the White House that they have hundreds of thousands of employees, “that he never knew they had that many people in their industry, but, uh, here we are. In fact…”, and then, the acting president of Venezuela gets up, leaving the discussion as he wanders to the windows behind him. The room is quiet, waiting for whatever this is to finish up. He tells them, this is the door to the new ballroom as he looks wistfully at the wreckage of the East Wing. As he returns to the meeting, he mutters, “unusual time to do that” and sits back down. He is handed a note by Marco Rubio to help nudge him back to the conversation which he reads aloud. He seems baffled by what the conversation he must return to was.

Most of the small group of people who read this, will not be interested but for the few who may be, please join me in a little rabbit hole that just took a turn. I have been in here a while, but it just got a twist.

The president is burning the whole world down to keep the Epstein Files from coming out. He would rather take us all out with him, literally. He is incapable of anything but malice. His lifelong and unaddressed psychic boils are erupting. Our former NATO allies are sending support troops to Greenland after Trump directly threatened its leaders in a meeting in the Oval Office this week. Trump is threatening us with the Insurrection Act and possibly declaring martial law. His Fembot Kristi Noem is ordering her goons to try to get people to give him cause.

But here is the rabbit hole I went down this morning. I’ve been waking up at 3:30am for days, unable to sleep, too anxious. This morning, I tuned in to watch Wajahat Ali’s The Left Hook “Why Is Michael Cohen Crawling Back To Donald Trump” on YouTube, and he was putting the two’s and two’s together from interacting and watching others interact with Michael Cohen the past few months. Something seems fishy about how Michael Cohen has been reacting when the Epstein Files come up. On a show called “Lev Remembers”-also on YouTube, Lev Parnas will be talking about this today at noon Eastern with a young researcher named Ellie Leonard. Ellie Leonard recently did a Substack video with Katie Phang where she described her methods and how she built her team of volunteer researchers. They are finding the needles in the haystack-otherwise known as the Epstein File release so far. The chaotic and disorganized way the files were released was intentional. No cataloguing, no order, very cumbersome to parse. But these researchers are creating timelines. People are finding the connections, and they are getting released and parsed by independent media outlets. So many powerful people are involved and now the DOJ is saying they don’t have to release the Epstein Files. Donald Trump told a reporter directly that he would not want to release the files because so many of his friends would get hurt. He will never be moved from this position, and I believe he is deeply implicated.

NEW: The DOJ has filed a motion to block the appointment of an independent monitor to release the Epstein files in the Ghislaine Maxwell case.

The DOJ argues that federal courts lack the authority to enforce the Epstein Transparency Act and that Reps. Ro Khanna and Thomas Massie don’t have standing to recommend an independent monitor.

In short, it appears the DOJ’s position is that no court can force them to produce the files.

Now, Michael Cohen, the middleman/henchman who was Trump’s lawyer, is obliquely, and apparently, directly offering his services to help Trump get out from under the mess. Apparently, Michael Cohen is hiding something and is now trying to leverage it-saying he was coerced by Leticia James, the Attorney General for New York, and Alvin Bragg. He says in his Substack, that they coerced him into saying he was coerced by Donald Trump.

“From the time I first began meeting with lawyers from the Manhattan DA’s Office and the New York Attorney General’s Office in connection with their investigations of President Trump, and through the trial’s themselves, I felt pressured and coerced to only provide information and testimony that would satisfy the government’s desire to build the cases against and secure a judgement and convictions against President Trump.” He goes on to make a pretty good argument about prejudging a target as a prosecutor but the crux of the matter here is, what did he know about Trump and Epstein? If you have not been paying attention to the incredible group of survivors and victims of these abusive grotesques, please do. I believe they are going to be forced to out these fuckers themselves. They have given me a great deal of hope through this maddening year.

Thank you for nerding-out with me. I honestly think that the cover-up of the Epstein Files is what is driving Trump’s actions. All of them. In 3 days, it will be a year since he took office. If I had to name a movie that depicts how this 362 days around the Epstein/Trump saga has felt, this is it for me. I’m gonna go take a shower now, yuch.
